It started on a ordinary Monday, everything was supposed to be just like every other day... I would have never thought that my life would change. I put y hand on my neck, out of habit I suppose, and I felt a small lump… On Wednesday, my birthday, I started taking tests…. Services offered by the Society are provided exclusively through the work of volunteers, coordinated by the executive director. Through our programs, we are involved in advocacting the rights of patients with cancer, in psychological support groups, the improvement of communication between patients and medical personnel, as well as a the prevention and early detection of certain types of cancer, saving many lives.     read more
